Shipping & Returns

 

It is not required, however we recommend shipping to a confirmed PayPal address. Delivery is guaranteed by Paypal and makes delivery much less eventful.

Please remember, the delivery commitment does not start when the order is placed. It begins when we hand your package to the carrier.

We try to honor all shipping requests, however our FREE SHIPPING policy allows us the sole decision on shipping methods.  Most items will be shipped First Class Mail with the USPS.  Larger parcels, including Starter Kits and Continuous Brew Systems will ship Fed-Ex or Priority Mail service.  These are both an estimated 2-3 business day delivery service.

Orders paid by check/ money order,  will receive an email including your  delivery confimation number at the time of shipment.

Delivery confirmations for Paypal orders will be emailed to you through Paypal when your items has been shipped.

Sometimes due to extenuating circumstances we have to delay shipment.

We will try to adhere to the following schedule as much as possible:

All orders placed/paid prior to Monday will be shipped Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. 

All orders placed/paid Wednesday-Monday will be mailed the following Tuesday

· Please note we cannot ship on Friday for delivery on Monday.

· Please note that neither the shipping company nor FOTVN can accept responsibility for delays due to weather or heavy holiday mail.

· We instruct the carriers to leave the package at the door if no one is home, but it is at the driver's discretion whether or not to leave the package. If the driver does not leave the package, another attempt to deliver will be made the following day. In addition, you may pick up the item at the local station as indicated on the Attempt To Deliver Notice.

· Please inform recipients that they are receiving a package. If you are sending our products as a gift, please inform the recipient to be on the lookout for a package. We have had instances that the carrier left the package on the front porch and the recipient didn't discover it until a week later. Unfortunately neither FOTVN, nor the carriers can take responsibility for this as the package was delivered as requested.

 

Shipping Cost

· Please note that a handeling and packaging fee has been added to all orders. This fee varies from .99 to 2.76 for the larger boxes. No additional fees are added. The shipping rates are calculated by weight.

· The quote we give for shipping and handling is an estimate and is valid for US orders. However, occasionally there may be other fees involved. For example with very large orders being shipped to Hawaii or Alaska, the stated shipping and handling fees may be inadequate, and they may require a larger shipping box, in which case, we reserve the right to modify the shipping and handling fees.

· We will contact you before shipping if there are significant changes to the quoted price.

· Incorrect Addresses - the carrier charges  for address corrections, which must be passed on to the customer, so please be precise and accurate when typing in addresses.

 

International Shipping Policy

  • Please note that all International orders will receive an invoice via Paypal for the additional shipping fees
  • FREE SHIPPING is for US (United States) orders ONLY as stated on the front page of the website
  • If you do not agree with the additional fees, you will be refunded

Packaging

Because some of our products are perishable items, their condition upon arrival is of the utmost importance. Our products are individually packed and in adequate food for their travel to you. 

Order Notes

Please specify the date you would like to receive the package in this section. If you do not request a delivery date, we will assume you are requesting us to ship as soon as we are able to fill the order. Please refer to the shipping schedule above when requesting delivery dates.

You can also use this space to write messages to the recipient of the package.

RETURNS POLICY

All cultures are guaranteed to arrive alive and viable. In the event that the cultures are not alive upon their delivery, they will be replaced FREE of charge. The customer is asked to cover return postage to their address.

All other items are guaranteed against defect. All glass jars will be insured and can be replaced if they arrive broken.
