| A:Because of the nature of the item, we do not accept returns. We will replace any culture that doesn't ferment after we have given it a chance to recover from the journey. Please see out Shipping Policy page for full details. |

| A:Shipping is ALWAYS free on all items in our store for US orders only.. |

| A:Items are generally packaged and shipped the same day purchased, if they are paid for by 12 noon CST. Otherwise, the item will be shipped the next shipping day. We do not ship on Fri-Sun. |

| Q:What is the purpose of the blog? |

| A:Having shared cultures on eBay for several years now we have found that most of the questions a new fermenter will have are all the same. With this in mind, we established our blog to answer most any question you would have about the start-up process, times, temperatures, recipes, variations, alterations, substitutions, or just updates on how things are going. |

| Q:Will your cultures cure diseases of varying types? |

| A:No. |

| Q:Do you know where I can get raw milk for my kefir? |

| A:No. You can always try www.realmilk.com . |

| Q:What types of milk are best for culturing kefir? |
|
| A:We suggest the best and freshest milk you can locate and/or afford. Also, remember that kefir needs lactose to live. As long as you are using a milk that has lactose in it, the kefir will live and grow. |

| Q:Where did you originally get you kefir grains? |
|
| A:I originally obtained grains on eBay more than six years ago. We have since gotten grains from many different people as we enjoy trying different strains. We have found that kefir grains from most any place will make a great kefir and beneficial brew. |

| Q:Why do you only ship Priority? |
|
| A:Generally, Priority will get the cultures to you in a timely manner. This insures that the cultures have enough food for the journey to their new home. We sometimes choose other shipping carriers or methods as we deem needed. |
